Good Times Car  Show Info


Welcome to the 2012 Good Times Car Show.  Just a few items to help
make the show a pleasant experience.

  • Consumption of ALCOHOLIC beverages is not permitted on the
    street or sidewalk.
  • Please do not put chairs on the sidewalk where they can block
    foot traffic to area businesses.
  • Please be considerate of others and do not play loud music.  We
    reserve the right to ask you to turn it off if there are complaints.
  • Colorado Springs Police Dept. requires that vehicles do NOT
    leave until 3:15 and they will assist the process.  Escorts will get
    the lines of cars to the barricades.

Judging is conducted by members from each of the 4 Host Clubs.  
Judging rules are posted at the gazebo.  Teams of judges will be coming
around to inspect/judge your vehicle during the day.  Since there are 10
classes of vehicles to judge,l not all judging teams will be looking at your
vehicle.  They will be looking specifically for vehicles in  the classes they
are judging.  Please assist them and answer any question they may
have about your vehicle.  The cars of the 4 Host clubs are exempt from
the general awards.  We would like YOU the participants, to vote for
your favorite car from each of the 4 Host Clubs.  Host Club vehicles are
located near Bancroft Park and are identified by a special window
plaque stating "HOST CLUB CAR".  Enclosed you will find a ballot.  
Please fill it out and return it to the registration area by 1PM.

Door Prizes will be drawn by noon and posted at the registration area
until 2:00 PM.  Be sure to check for your RED ticket number at the
registration area after noon.  The tickets are in your registration
envelope.

The Award Ceremony will begin at 2PM at the band shell in Bancroft
Park.  YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE AWARD CEREMONY TO WIN.  
If you are remaining after the show ends, we ask that you please park
your vehicle in a normal parking space so the road can be reopened as
soon as possible.
