22nd Annual Good Times Car Show
ABOUT US:
Three host clubs, Colorado Cruizers, Rocky Mountain
Mustangers and the Southern Colorado Mopars, are
co-sponsoring the 22nd Annual Good Times Car Show. This
event is held at Bancroft Park on Colorado Avenue in Old
Colorado City, Colorado Springs. It benefits CANINE
COMPANIONS for INDEPENDENCE. Last year we were able to
donate $6000 to CANINE COMPANIONS for INDEPENDENCE and
to date, we have donated over $67,000.
The people at CANINE COMPANIONS for INDEPENDENCE train
dogs to assist handicapped individuals with their day-to-day
tasks. CANINE COMPANIONS for INDEPENDENCE receives no
government money. CANINE COMPANIONS for INDEPENDENCE
and the GOOD TIMES CAR SHOW, are both 501c organizations
and any donations are tax deductible.
We have received positive comments from participants,
spectators, police and merchants regarding the location of the
show in Old Colorado City. Many of the participants and their
families appreciate the restaurants and shops being open on
Sunday during the car show so they can eat and do some
shopping. Also the merchants sponsor a scavenger hunt in
conjunction with the car show.
